NERWHA will hold a one-day symposium on the theme “Ships and Seafarers in World History” on Saturday, 28 October, at the Northeast Maritime Institute (NMI) in Fairhaven, MA.

A keynote address and several panels and roundtables are planned. More details about the keynote speaker will follow shortly. As always, the day’s presentations and discussions will focus equally on current scholarship and innovative pedagogy.
