The WHA is thrilled to announce that the 26th Annual Conference will take place at Northeastern University, Boston from June 22-24, 2017. As the WHA headquarters, Northeastern is an ideal place for an international group of world historians, whether students, teachers, professors or independent scholars, to gather and shape the future of the discipline. Fall 2017 New England Historical Association Conference
NEHA will hold its Fall 2017 conference on October 28, 2017 at Eastern Connecticut State University.

Fall 2017 Conference Of the New England Regional World History Association
NERWHA will hold its Fall 2017 symposium on November 4, 2017 at Salem State University. The conference theme will be “Tolerance and Intolerance in World History.” The keynote speaker will be Professor Bethany Jay of Salem State University, who will deliver the address “Understanding and Teaching Slavery: The Classroom as a Venue to Teach about Racial Tolerance.”

Annual Meeting of the Mid-West World History Association

The annual conference of the Mid-West World History Association will be held from September 22-23, 2017, at the University of Central Oklahoma. The conference theme is “Reformations and Revolutions in World History.”

Annual Conference of the Southeast World History Association

The Southeast World History Association (SEWHA), a regional affiliate of the World History Association, invites submissions for its twenty-ninth conference, hosted at the University of North Georgia, 6-7 October 2017. The conference organizers welcome proposals that engage with the broad range of possible topics in world history, with a particular interest in submissions that touch upon the theme of “Periodization and Temporality in World History.”

Annual Conference of the Hawai’i, Northwest, and California Affiliates of the WHA

A joint conference of the Hawai’i, California and Northwest Affiliates of the World History Association was held at the Crossroads of the Pacific, Honolulu, Hawai’i, February 17-20, 2017. The conference theme was: Pacific Journeys: Trans-Pacific Migrations, Encounters, and Exchanges.

The 2018 conference will be held at UC Irvine. Details will be posted when they are available.
